About us and our taxidermy school:

In 1954 I purchased a mail order taxidermy program from the Northwestern School of Taxidermy. Using this school's instruction I mounted my first bird. After that I was hooked on taxidermy.

Then in 1964 I wanted to learn professional taxidermy, but there were no resident school programs available. I went to a professional taxidermist and he taught me taxidermy. With his training I started my part time taxidermy business.

A short four years later I was a full time taxidermist and my instruction had paid off. I was now doing what I loved to do - taxidermy. Many customers asked me to teach them taxidermy. And in 1975 I opened the world's first State Licensed taxidermy school.

The school was an immediate success and by 1987 I had trained over 2,200 students in professional taxidermy changing the face of taxidermy forever. Today many of the nation's leading taxidermists have trained at my school. The best compliment any of my students ever gave me was them opening thier own taxidermy schools. As they say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

Now at the Rinehart Taxidermy Institute I still love to teach, and I look forward to teaching you the profitable art of taxidermy.

Being around the family businesses of taxidermy supplies, school and studios, my whole life I know a lot about taxidermy. And when the opportunity arose I attended our school to learn what I had not formally picked up already.

Now I have been practicing professional taxidermy for a few years while working with my father on a daily basis. I have been able to draw on his 40 plus years of experience, and that has helped expand my knowledge of taxidermy.

Our school, The Rinehart Taxidermy Institute, is the latest in a long and proud tradition of taxidermy related businesses. Here at our school my father and I will teach you taxidermy the way only a team of Rineharts can. With our small class size we can help each student on a one-to-one basis. Here at the Rinehart Taxidermy Institute it is my pleasure to teach you taxidermy.
