The Rinehart Institute's taxidermy school has developed the nation's most in-depth
fish program. In our seven day class, starting on Sunday morning at 8:00AM to Saturday
at 5:00PM includes 70 hours of fish instruction in one week - no other taxidermy
school offers such a comprehensive fish mounting curriculum.
Our instruction will teach you the most advanced and efficient techniques in fish
taxidermy. The fish course teaches two mounting techniques:
1: Using professionally sculptured fish mannequins so anatomically accurate that
the fish are a joy to mount.
2: Carving your own fish body from a block of foam.
Both techniques are needed in a taxidermy studio.
Our school's air brush program was developed by me, and set a standard in fish coloring
instruction sinceI introduced it. Two students will share a complete set of eight
Paasche airbrushes. Eight airbrushes plus the fish coloring book sets the standard
for learning to air brush fish.
